I foster dogs, and for some reason they all sneak downstairs to go potty. My most recent one has been doing it frequently and saying that my basement carpet stunk is an understatement. It could be smelled from upstairs. I have a carpet cleaner and that seemed to just make it worse. As a last resort before I gave up and ripped the carpet up, I bought this. This immediately got rid of the smell and even traveled upstairs. I don't know how it does long term, but right now I have a tremendous sense of relief.
